Eichhorn Montessori Window Bricks

The Montessori Window Blocks bring together 5 geometric shapes in an early building and sensory play set: beech wood frames, coloured acrylic windows and a mirrored arch form the complete set. Triangle, rectangle, square and circle each present a clearly recognisable outline, while the arch adds a reflective quality when stacking and handling. The transparent acrylic inserts introduce blue, yellow, red and green into play — the colour panels can be observed, compared and combined. Each block has an open, easy-to-grip format that supports lifting, turning and placing for small hands from 1 year. The set deliberately contains just 5 pieces so that the focus remains on clear shape recognition, first building experiences and the development of hand-eye coordination. Beech wood and acrylic create a tactile contrast between smooth wooden edges and light-transmitting centre panels that change the appearance of each shape as it moves. On the floor, at a low table or beside a window, the blocks can be stacked into simple towers, sorted by shape or held up to the light to discover colours through the transparent panels. The mirrored arch adds a different visual accent and extends play possibilities beyond pure building. Learn more about FSC® | www.fsc.org | FSC-C005308
