EH Panda Boîte à Formes

The shape sorter combines a form-sorting game and active discovery in one compact wooden box, with 8 different sorting blocks and a front flap for quick access to all the pieces. Measuring 12.5 x 19 x 15 cm, the box sits comfortably on the floor, a play mat or a low table, while the handle on top keeps the set within easy reach at all times. The box and blocks are made from birch wood, MDF and plywood; the set includes the sorting box and all 8 blocks – 9 pieces in total. Each block fits one specific opening, so every attempt requires turning, comparing and placing with intention – no simply dropping pieces in. This repeated sequence builds early hand-eye coordination and connects shape recognition with a concrete physical action. The flap changes the rhythm of play: pieces can be collected without tipping the whole box over. Whether played quietly alone or sorted together with an adult, the box creates a simple routine of choosing a block, finding the right opening and lifting the flap to start a new round.
