Eichhorn Montessori Shape Puzzle

The Montessori Shape Puzzle brings together 12 geometric wooden pieces and an 18 x 18 cm board for sorting, fitting and arranging. Made from FSC® 100%-certified birch and linden wood, each shape has its own dedicated space – the varied outlines call for careful turning, comparing and deliberate placing. Rectangles, triangles and square shapes form several visual groups on the board, so the same set can be explored in different ways. Some areas are filled with 2 larger pieces, others assembled from 4 smaller ones – this creates variety in how pieces are grasped and different levels of attention depending on the section. The slotted board keeps the task clear and tactile: children feel edges, test orientations and discover how individual shapes come together to form larger squares. The 13-piece set is compact and easy to bring out for short play sessions at home. On a rug, at a small table or during a quiet play break, the board creates a focused activity centred on colours, shapes and hand-eye coordination, from age 2.
