Dressboard Fabric

The Textile Learning Boards bring everyday fastening practice together in a compact 10-piece set with 5 different learning tasks. The set includes fabric-covered boards featuring a button, zip, hook-and-loop fastener, press stud and buckle – each mounted on a plywood board measuring 18 x 14 cm. The clear principle of one task per board makes every movement easy to follow. Suitable from 3 years. The combination of plywood and fabric gives each board its own feel: fingers pull open a zip, press a stud, thread a buckle or open and close a hook-and-loop fastener. Repeating these concrete actions supports fine motor skills, coordination and concentration through direct doing rather than abstract instruction. With 5 different fastener types in one set, several everyday dressing movements are practised, with each exercise remaining clearly defined. The compact format works well for table play, quiet activity time or regular practice at home and in nursery. Children can focus on one fastener or work through all 5 boards, building familiarity with everyday fastenings in short, hands-on sessions. Learn more about FSC® | www.fsc.org | FSC-C005308
