Knocking Bench

The pounding bench combines active hammer play with clear cause and effect in a compact birch wood format. Measuring 9 x 18 x 13 cm, the bench features 6 colourful pegs on the top surface that, together with a wooden mallet, ensure every hit sends a peg through its opening and keeps the action easy to follow at every step. The 8-piece set focuses on repeated, action-oriented movement rather than a one-time result. Each strike calls for accuracy, timing and controlled force, building dexterity and hand-eye coordination through a simple sequence that can be restarted again and again. The coloured pegs provide a visual prompt for recognising and naming colours, while the bench structure keeps all movement concentrated on the same play area. The birch wood construction gives the set its classic wooden character, and the separate layout of mallet and pegs makes the mechanism immediately clear. Whether on a table, a shelf or a play mat, the bench delivers lively activity with visible movement on every turn. Children from 1 year can hammer the pegs through, move on to the next colour and continue the sequence in the same clear rhythm from start to finish.
