Stacking Board

This peg puzzle brings together 5 different shapes, 21 pieces and a compact format of 18 x 19 x 10 cm into a hands-on wooden sorting activity suitable from 1 year. Each shape is guided onto its matching peg, turning simple placement into a clear sequence of grasping, aligning and threading. Beech wood gives the board and pieces a natural character, while the coloured and natural surfaces make individual shapes easy to tell apart during play. The set invites repeated practice of matching, ordering and placing, as the same pegs can be filled again and again in new combinations. Because the pieces are individual and easy to handle, small hands can pick them up one by one, turn them and explore how each opening fits over the peg. This repeated movement supports hand-eye coordination through a concrete action rather than a passive sorting task. Whether on the floor, at a play table or during a quiet moment, the peg puzzle creates a focused play situation with visible progress as the stacks grow peg by peg. The 21 pieces allow for short sorting rounds as well as longer sessions involving colour grouping, shape comparison and free stacking.
