Constructor Wheel Loader brings building play and vehicle action together in a 140-piece set for ages 5Y+. The assembled model combines wooden parts with connector elements and rolling wheels, creating a construction vehicle with a front bucket that can be moved for loading and lifting play. Beyond the wheel loader, the set supports 6 different builds: excavator loader, walking excavator, skid steer loader, skid, unimog and bigfoot. That range shifts the focus from a single finished model to repeated rebuilding with new shapes, wheel layouts and working arm arrangements. The visible screw connections and drilled wooden components turn each build into a clear sequence of matching, fastening and positioning, which supports dexterity and concentration through concrete assembly steps. After assembly, the rolling vehicle suits floor play with pushing, turning and bucket movement, while a rebuild can switch the same parts into another machine from the 6-model range. My 4 yr old and I have now built 3 different vehicles with the parts. My son is autistic and his special interest is construction vehicles. He loves to build just to dismantle and create something entirely new from the parts. I love to see him using his imagination to think of new ideas. Especially useful for playing with on days with bad weather, we have spent hours working on a new idea of his and we are having so much fun! The only criticism I have is that there aren't any extra bolts or washers and to expect a small child not to lose any parts is quite unrealistic!
