Music Xylophone

The Music Xylophone brings together an 8-note layout, a wooden frame and metal tone bars in a compact instrument for first music experiences. The 28 x 13 cm format keeps the notes close together so the mallet can glide quickly from bar to bar, allowing first sound patterns to take shape. The body and frame are made from plywood and birch, while the 8 metal bars provide the sound. The 3-piece set includes the xylophone, 1 mallet and a songbook with 4 songs. The printed melodies offer a clear next step after free exploration and help connect specific bar positions with familiar note sequences. Whether on the floor, a table or a play shelf, the xylophone suits short music sessions with individual notes, repeated rhythms and first attempts at playing through the 4 songs. Its compact size means it can be brought out whenever a straightforward instrument with a visible note arrangement is called for.
