Outdoor Feeding House

The Outdoor Bird Feeder House combines building and painting in one 7-piece craft set. Linden wood parts come together to form a hanging feeder house with an open tray and a pitched roof; the finished size of 14 x 14 x 24 cm gives the project a clear presence outdoors. A brush and paint are included, so the natural wood surfaces can be decorated with individual colour combinations straight after assembly. The 30-minute build forms a distinct step before painting begins. Roof panels, side pieces and base elements join to create a real object with a visible function – giving the craft project more structure than a flat painting activity. Working with the brush on the assembled form trains precise hand movements, while choosing colours for the roof and walls encourages planning and an eye for visual contrast across the different wood surfaces. Hung on a balcony, terrace or in the garden, the finished feeder house becomes a handmade outdoor accent with a personal touch. The combination of building, painting and later use as a feeding station makes it a focused creative project for ages 6 and up.
