Train Level Crossing

The level crossing brings a working junction to wooden railway layouts: 2 barrier posts, a crossing plate and a magnetic closing mechanism provide a realistic sequence of actions. The red-and-white barrier arms can be lifted by hand, and the magnets then return them automatically to the closed position – giving every passing train a clear series of actions. The 4-piece set is made from FSC®-certified beech wood (100%) and measures 6 x 25 x 15 cm. It creates a well-defined road-rail crossing that fits even into compact track plans. Operating the barriers by hand gives small hands a precise, endlessly repeatable action – ideal for role play centred on stopping, waiting and passing through. Yellow posts, printed road markings and striped barrier arms create a recognisable appearance without adding unnecessary complexity. Whether placed beside a station, on a town route or between curved sections, the crossing creates a natural pause in the track layout and extends it with traffic control scenes. As a focused accessory, it is particularly suited to situations where trains and road vehicles share the same route. Learn more about FSC® | www.fsc.org | FSC-C005308
