Play Kitchen

This play kitchen brings together a light-up hob, sink, oven and extractor hood in a single wooden unit measuring 36 x 69 x 99.5 cm. Pine, lime and plywood form a freestanding kitchen structure that gives cooking play a clear layout – from the hob at the top to the oven and storage space below. The light function provides a visible response during cooking, while the sink and extractor hood extend play beyond the hob. Turning dials, opening the oven and cupboard doors and moving between the different work areas produces a varied range of hand movements that support coordination during role play. Assembly required, approximately 60 minutes. 2 batteries required separately. In everyday play the kitchen works equally well for solo sessions and shared household scenes, where one child works at the sink while another uses the hob or oven. The upright format invites children to repeat familiar cooking, washing and serving situations across many rounds of play.
