Construct Crane 2-in-1 Building Set

The Construct Crane 2-in-1 set brings together 248 pieces in a wooden construction project that can be assembled as either a crane or a space shuttle. Beech wood, plywood and connectors make for a clearly structured build process in which screwing and fitting each section encourages concentration, dexterity and a first understanding of simple mechanical connections. The 2 motifs give the set a fixed conversion option without changing the nature of the construction play itself. The first model results in a tall crane; with the second, the same pieces come together as a space shuttle model – sequence and structure remain at the heart of both builds. The set uses FSC® 100%-certified wood and can be combined with other Eichhorn Construct or Constructor sets, opening up further configurations and conversion options. Whether at a play table, on the floor or during a quiet craft session, children aged 6 and up are given a concrete building task with visible progress from piece to piece. Once assembled, the crane and shuttle fit naturally into construction site or space scenarios before the parts are put to use again in the next rebuild.
