The Montessori Stapel-Beads bring 16 pieces in different shapes together for stacking, balancing and arranging by hand. Birchwood and beechwood parts meet acrylic elements in one set, so each build combines solid wooden forms with translucent colour accents that stand out clearly on the table. Rounded, faceted and cylindrical forms change how each piece sits on the next one, so placement becomes a visible exercise in control and observation. Some arrangements rise into narrow towers, while wider pieces create lower structures with a different balance point. The mix of wood and acrylic also supports shape recognition through contrast, because edges, curves and colours remain easy to distinguish while pieces are turned and compared. With 16 parts, the set offers enough variation for repeated rebuilding without overwhelming the play surface.
