Music Tambourine

The Music Tambourine brings first rhythm experiences in a compact format of 14.5 x 14.5 x 4.5 cm. The plywood frame and straightforward shape make the instrument easy to handle. As a single musical instrument it keeps the activity clear: shaking, tapping and repeating simple rhythm patterns are at the centre of play. The round shape makes it easier to shift grip, so small hands can hold, move and re-grasp the tambourine comfortably during short music sessions. Whether during free play, alongside songs or in clapping games, the tambourine encourages repeated hand movements that are directly linked to an acoustic result. This immediate connection between action and sound can support coordination, concentration and a first sense of tempo. The compact dimensions also make it straightforward to include the instrument in a variety of play situations, from floor play to table activities. The tambourine is suited to early musical exploration from 1 year. It fits quiet rhythm practice, shared music moments and first experiments with timing, movement and sound.
