Shape Game

This shape sorting puzzle brings together 20 colourful wooden blocks and a matching wooden frame to create a compact placement puzzle where position, colour and shape take centre stage. The birch wood construction gives every piece a solid feel in the hand, while the tray creates a clearly defined area in which the pattern gradually comes together. Recommended for ages 3 and up, the 21-piece format makes it straightforward to set up and tidy away neatly. Each block has its own outline, so the challenge lies in comparing edges, rotating pieces and working out how they fit into the frame. The different colours help to distinguish the shapes visually, supporting matching and sorting during play. Removing, turning and replacing the blocks involves repeated hand movements that suit calm, focused moments at the table. Because the entire pattern is visible within the tray, progress can be seen at a glance as the gaps grow smaller and the picture closes. The puzzle works well for short play sessions on the floor, at a table or as a quiet activity break. Once the frame is filled, the blocks can be taken out and rearranged, so the same set offers a fresh sorting challenge with every new round.
